Privacy Policy

KillerRank.ai is a service of Killerspots.com, Inc., doing business as Killerspots Agency ("KillerRank", "we", "us", "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through killerrank.ai (the "Site") and in the course of providing our search engine optimization and AI search optimization services (the "Services"), how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By using the Site you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Contact and trial forms. Your name, company, email address, phone number, website address, the plan you are interested in and anything you write in the message field.
  • Free website audit. The website address you ask us to audit, your name, your email address and, if you provide it, your company name. We use these to run the audit and deliver the report.
  • Client onboarding. If you become a client, the business information, account access and content you give us so we can do the work, and billing details needed to invoice you.
  • Communications. Records of emails, calls, texts and meetings with us.

Information collected automatically

  • How you found us. When you first arrive we record the page you landed on, the site that referred you and any campaign tags in the link (for example utm_source or an ad click identifier). This is stored in your browser and sent to us only if you submit a form, so we know how a lead found us.
  • Usage data. Pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser type, and similar analytics data.
  • Technical and security data. IP address, user agent and request logs used to keep the Site secure and to block automated abuse.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information, and we ask that you do not send it to us through the Site.

3. How we use information

  • To respond to your enquiry, start a free trial and provide the Services.
  • To run the free audit you request and send you the report.
  • To contact you about your enquiry, your account, or services we think are relevant to your business. You can opt out at any time.
  • To understand which marketing brings people to us and to improve the Site.
  • To protect the Site, prevent fraud and spam, and comply with the law.

4. Text messages (SMS)

If you give us a mobile number and agree to receive text messages, we may text you about your enquiry, your account and our services. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. You can also call (513) 270-2500. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of buying anything from us.

We do not sell, rent or share mobile phone numbers or text message consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. Mobile information is shared only with the service providers that deliver the messages on our behalf, and only for that purpose.

5. Cookies, analytics and third party tools

The Site uses a small number of tools that may set cookies or use local storage:

  • Google Analytics 4 to measure traffic and usage. Google may set cookies and process usage data. You can opt out with Google's browser add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser.
  • Cloudflare to host and secure the Site, including its privacy-focused web analytics and, on our forms, bot protection (Cloudflare Turnstile).
  • Our customer relationship platform, which hosts our contact form and stores the enquiries sent through it.
  • The KillerSEOx audit tool, our own platform, which runs the free audit and delivers the report.
  • Trustindex to display our Google reviews.
  • Local storage in your browser to remember how you first found the Site, as described in section 2.

We do not use the Site to serve third party advertising, and we do not respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals because there is no common standard for them.

6. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:

  • With service providers who process it for us under contract, such as hosting, analytics, email delivery, customer relationship management, payment processing and messaging providers.
  • When the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our clients, or the safety of others.
  • As part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, in which case this policy continues to apply to your information.

7. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and audit records for as long as needed to respond to you and to run our business, and client records for the length of the relationship plus the period required for tax, accounting and legal purposes. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (section 9).

8. Security

The Site is served over encrypted connections and we limit access to personal information to the people who need it to do their jobs. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your choices and rights

  • Access, correction and deletion. You can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it.
  • Marketing. You can opt out of marketing emails with the unsubscribe link in any message, and out of texts by replying STOP.
  • State privacy rights. Depending on where you live, including California and other states with privacy laws, you may have additional rights such as the right to know, delete, correct and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those laws define it. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

10. Children

The Site and the Services are for businesses. They are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

11. Links to other sites

The Site links to other websites, including killerspots.com and killerseox.com. Their privacy practices are described in their own policies.

12. Visitors outside the United States

We operate in the United States and the information we collect is processed and stored there. By using the Site you understand your information will be handled in the United States.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
